Our heroine, having been jilted on an anniversary date with her steady boyfriend, reluctantly takes on a last-minute babysitting job for a regular client. An emergency call from Liz`s best girl friend makes her gather up her young charges, and two lustful young male hitchthikers and take a trip to downtown Chicago, resulting in a very wild ride for all concerned.
All heck breaks loose as their car is stolen by a gang, making Liz complain and explain her predicament to a sympathetic hood, who lets her go, but not before the boys accidently steal gang plans concealed inside a few Playboy mags. The enraged gang pursues.
Our rag-tag team of potential victims runs and drives into a series of adventures, including a confrontation with the duplicitous boyfriend and culminating in a high-rise escapade in the very building in which the parents are celebrating an open house for well-to-do commercial tennants.
The good guys (and gals) have better balance than their antagonists, and thus win out in the end. The young people finally rescue the stranded girl who started this whole affair, drop her off, and settle into bed just as the parents arrive back home after a strenuous night of schmoozing.
Trivia: Maia Brewton would later co-star in perhaps the best of all FFTT TV Shows-Parker Lewis Can`t Lose. Also, a cameo by the late blues maestro Albert Collins. Penelope and Vincent are also familiar names by now.
