Once again we find ourselves in the Southland, where almost anything goes. Three friends, two guys and their best gal pal, graduate from an elite L.A. high school, and say their farewells as they go on separate paths in life. Months later, Andrew is called back from his safe pre-law school career by Jami, who is deeply concerned about Robert (and herself as well).

Robert is unable to deal with the brave new world of adulthood, one without limits from `rents or principals, having no principles of his own. His subsidised business ventures fail, and he becomes all the more desperate. Jami is a successful model, but is failing in her own way.

James, as supercilious as ever, is a predatory coke/crack dealer to pampered Hollywood twenty-somethings, and a fellow classmate. Jami and Andrew try to save Robert from his grip, but fail to rescue their friend from further degradtion as he is forced to perform humiliating acts on some of James` male clients to help pay off his drug debts.

Our heroes valiantly rescue their friend from a frenzied coke party and get him away from the bad guys who helped him become the abject addict he now is, but there`s nowhere to go. They`re driving away fron Hell, but have no destination.

Robert dies of an overdose.
