This mother of all Snobs vs Slobs movies revolves around a couple of meek high school geeks whose essential nerdiness is exposed to them only when they get to the Big Leagues in college. Drunken, pampered jocks run all over those less socially fortunate, and the campus losers must all come together despite their differences merely to survive.
Our heroes form a fraternity of their own, and each is a geek and a Greek in his own special way, but they have grit, determination and the desire for revenge. As it happens, the traditional fall Greekfest competition based on athletic, intellectual, artistic and other events, provides a potential victory for the hapless, but not helpless heroes. The winning fraternity also takes over the leadership of the powerful Greek Council.
Their honest efforts, hard work and greater intellect propel our heroes to victory, defeating the jocks who have grown rich, lazy and spoiled through years of indulging in unearned, inherited privileges. The nerds take power over the fraternity system, impose a new egalitarian social order and get together with most of the great girls on campus. Well, one has other plans, but that`s a different story...
Trivia: Anthony is a important FFTTMstar and is a big mainstream star on ER. Also, he was a regular character in a later season of Northern Exposure with star Rob Morrow from Private Resort (co-starring Johnny Depp) and Barry Corbin (Permanent Record).
