Our boy is one major essay short of high school graduation, but is determined not to let this slight inconvenience interfere with the traditional senior class trip south to Florida the week before the big event. Since writing the essay is quite out of the question, Michael and his best buds kidnap the class geek, and make him write the required essay while also giving him many experiences he`d never know otherwise on their beach adventures.

Several various and sundry scenarios ensue, especially when a couple of jealous girlfriends follow our boys down to the tropics, and when their suspicious teacher catches them on a vacation rather than their purported research trip. When our guys also run afoul of a few local rich boys, all bets are off-anything could happen when this level of hijinx and capers is reached!

In the end, as always, our boys foil their foes, as the former are the freer thinkers and braver fighters in any battle which may come to the fore. Michael gets his passing paper, despite a school review, and the geek boy loses his...er, geekiness, under special tutelage, masterfully arranged by Michael. Also, the girlfriends are mollified, and the uptight teacher is kept silent. Everyone is happy.

Trivia: Michael looks a great deal like the young Elvis, and even starred in a short-lived TV series on the King`s early life and career around 1990 or `91 on ABC.
