Dream a Little Dream (1988) Vestron

Jason and Piper, lively and vivacious elders, meet the Coreys, young and bored teens. Some kind of Weird Science/Matrix thing happens because of the old guy`s psychological sleep/dream experiments, causing Jason and his lover Piper to switch places with the F man and the girl he secretly loves, Meredith.

Youth really is wasted on the young, as Jason/Corey F goes on to prove. He earns more respect with his adult knowledge and new teen body than Corey himself could ever dream of. Piper, as Meredith, has not made a complete transformation, and only slowly begins to realize that she has adult tastes and maturity. She soon outgrows her rich, snobbish boyfriend and rejects his degrading jealousy.

Jason realizes that he`ll have to live La Vida Loca for a while, until he can figure out how to get himself and his love back to reality. After some routine hijinx ending with the defeat of the rich boyfriend, our older heroes go to sleep, and awaken to find that their dream is over. However, they have a little more pep in their step than before, and the youngsters are more than a little wiser for the experience.

Trivia: there was, indeed, a sequel some six years later-probably a desperate attempt to revive the then-moribund Corey Empire.
