My Chauffuer (1986) Crown International

Written and Directed by David Beaird

Starring: Deborah Foreman, Sam Jones, Sean McClary, Howard Hesseman, E.G. Marshall

Hesseman heads a haughty limosine firm dedicated to the upholding of superior service. However an influential client insists that he hire a brash young Madonna wannabe, a direct challenge to the tradition of obedience cherished by all the gentlemen chauffuers. With great reluctance she is given a chance to fit in, and is promised an opportunity to drive the most highly- prized vintage limosine in the fleet if she learns properly. Now she`s really motivated!

She unknowingly meets the client`s son under difficult circumstances, as Dad had planned, and is assigned to take him on a long, overnight trip. The personal fireworks really start to fly when they are stranded alone due to car failure and must rely on each other overnite for survival. He`s an obsessive workaholic, and she`s a free-spirited beauty, so what do you think the chances are that behind all the bickering they really begin to fall in love?

They end up getting married, of course, and Hesseman is the one who must drive them off to their honeymoon!

Trivia: cameos by Penn and Teller as prank-loving limo drivers.
