Our boy is new in town, his father just having become manager of the self-titled, eponymous establishment. He`s socially insecure, but is befriended by the duplicitous jock set for one reason: in his other movie he had a free ride, but here he can provide a free room for all sorts of parties!
Of course our hero ends up letting his new friends go overboard, is soon discovered and duly punished by Dad and rejected by the leading jocks who no longer need him. However, a few truly thought of him as a friend and resent the heavy-handed style of both their coach and the team captain, and end up rescuing Gary from his social, parental and scholastic problems. Also, he gets the girl, if memory serves.
