The return of the Georgetown Seven: the heart and soul of the Brat Pack-it`s all here, folks!

Several close friends, all recent Georgetown graduates, are reunited by concern when two of them have a car accident. Everyone`s alright, and they repair to their favourite local bar, for which this film is named (no, it`s not a real establishment).

We`ve got bright young people here with great potential, but personal problems and lingering nostalgia keep many of them close to their fond college memories. There is a love triangle among the friends, a kid who won`t grow up, a woman living on borrowed money far beyond her means, an incorrigible romantic, a cynic, a do-gooder and an opportunist. However the strength of their friendship saves them from their individual failings.

Everyone`s bruised and scarred (and scared) by life and each other, but they all emerge strengthened in the end. The apron ties to the Alma Mater are finally cut as our heroes and heroines begin to fully grow up.

They`re gonna make it after all...

Comment: This is how you make an FFTTM about personal feelings and fears without boring much of the audience.

Trivia: It was partially filmed at YMP`s alma mater, the University of Maryland, College Park. There is no resemblance whatsoever to our heroes` Alma Mater, Georgetown University (since this is a school located inside a major city, it hardly seems likely that it would have great expanses of green grass on its campus!)
