Our old Taxi-driving buddy Tony once again plays a lovable palooka. A single father and radio station manager, he dotes on his two daughters, but when the older one, Amy, turns fifteen she wants to step out a bit-and all heck breaks loose.
Dad takes a business trip out of town, and his girlfriend/nanny gives our blossoming young woman a gorgeous makeover-and she is now as hot as she wants to be!
Not knowing how to handle his newly-independent little girl/young woman, Tony enlists the help of a celebrity pop psychiatrist, and alternately plays the roles of best friend, private detective and strict enforcer while observing her many adventures-some innocent, some a bit daring-all to try to control Amy, but to no avail. When he alienates her, he finally fires the shrink, follows his instincts, and reaches an understanding with Amy they can both live with.
